Our Story
A mug for someone who needed one.
That's how this started. Not a brand. Not a launch plan. Just a quiet idea that the things we hold every morning could carry a little more meaning.
Feel Good Mug Co. is a small studio devoted to making stoneware that does more than hold coffee. Every mug we make is hand-thrown, hand-trimmed, and hand-glazed in small batches.
We work slowly on purpose. Each piece passes through our hands a half-dozen times before it's ever boxed. We've found that when something is made carefully, you can feel it — in the weight of it, the lip, the curve of the handle, the way it settles into your palms.
We started with a single mission: to make mugs worth gifting. Mugs you'd send to a friend in grief. To a daughter going through a hard season. To a parent in recovery. Mugs that say, without saying, I'm thinking of you, and I'll be here in the morning, too.

How we make them
- 1. Throw. Each mug starts as a ball of stoneware clay, centered on the wheel by hand.
- 2. Trim. Once leather-hard, the foot is trimmed and the handle is pulled and attached.
- 3. Bisque. A first firing at 1,940°F prepares the piece for glaze.
- 4. Glaze. Hand-dipped in food-safe glazes mixed in our studio.
- 5. Fire. A final firing at 2,232°F makes them strong, dishwasher safe, and ready for years of mornings.
